A team snack, a lunch bag, a birthday party. One tap shows the allergy, with a text to your emergency contact ready to send, so the conversation happens before anything gets eaten. You choose what goes underneath: the allergy, where the epinephrine is, who to text.
This is a message to my emergency contact. You may send a text and/or see important info below. If this is an emergency, call 911 first, don’t wait.
No subscription. No profile.
- No subscription. You pay for the tag once. Nothing to renew, nothing to cancel.
- No account, no online profile. What you put on it lives on the tag itself, not on a website.
- Works on iPhone and Android. Nothing for the finder to install.
- Not a tracker. No GPS, no battery. It does nothing until someone taps it.
Anyone who taps the tag can read it, like a printed ID card, so put on only what you want a helper to see. In an emergency, call 911 first.
Straight answers.
What should I put on an allergy tag?
What a helper needs to know before you can say it: the allergy, where the epinephrine is, and who to text. For example: I am allergic to peanuts. My EpiPen is in the front pocket of my backpack.
Is it a medical device?
No. It is a way to tell people what you chose to share. It does not replace a medical ID, your allergy action plan or a call for help. In an emergency, call 911 first.
Does it work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. Recent iPhones read NFC tags from the lock screen with nothing to set up: hold the top edge of the phone to the tag. Most Android phones read them too, with NFC switched on in Settings; the reading spot is the middle of the back. A notification pops up, and tapping it opens what is on the tag.
Is there a subscription?
No. You pay for the tag once. No account, no app to keep, nothing to renew and nothing to cancel.
How private is it?
There is no online profile and no database behind the tag. What you put on it lives on the chip itself. Anyone who taps it can read it, the same as a printed ID card, so put on only what you want a helper to see, and rewrite it whenever you like.
Can I change what is on it?
Yes. It ships unlocked. You rewrite it in about a minute with the free NFC Tools app, and the instruction card in the package shows how.
