A second line, built the same way as the school tags: a printed NFC tag, no app, no account, nothing stored. This one is not for a bag on a bench. It is for everything you carry that is not tied to a school: medical alerts, allergy alerts, memory care, autism, nonspeaking, if-found and pet tags.

First, always. Then the tag does its part: it carries the condition or the allergy somebody needs to know, and it reaches the person who should be told. No tag summons help, and this one does not pretend to.
The rest of the time it is for the smaller stuff. The allergy a good samaritan should know before you can say it yourself, the keys somebody found and wants back to you, the dog that snuck under the fence chasing a squirrel.

Every other tag on this page is blank until you decide what goes on it. This one is not. It arrives programmed to the national suicide and crisis resources, identical on every tag, with nothing personal on it anywhere. Carry it for yourself, or hang it where somebody else would find it.
It does not call anyone for you. Holding a phone to it brings up the Lifeline and how to reach it. That is all it does. It does not dial, it does not text, it sends nothing by itself, and nobody is told that it was tapped. A person still has to decide to make the call. This tag is not an emergency service and not a medical device. If it is an emergency, call 911 first.
