Where this fits

If it's serious,
call 911 first.

First, always. Then the tag does its part: it carries the condition or the allergy somebody needs to know, and it reaches the person who should be told. No tag summons help, and this one does not pretend to.

The rest of the time it is for the smaller stuff. The allergy a good samaritan should know before you can say it yourself, the keys somebody found and wants back to you, the dog that snuck under the fence chasing a squirrel.

The line

Eight tags.

Front and back, and what each one is for.

A girl walks into school holding her mom's hand, a red tag clipped to her lavender backpack
Medical Alert tag, front: MEDICAL ALERT and a white cross on redFront
Medical Alert tag, back: TAP FOR INFO with a phone and contactless waves in whiteBack
Medical Alert

The condition, right there, before anyone has to ask.

A tap shows a good samaritan what they need to know if you cannot say for yourself, with a text to your emergency contact already addressed and ready to send. No bracelet engraving, no card buried in a wallet.

The tap opensThis is a message to my emergency contact. You may send a text and/or see important info below. If this is an emergency, call 911 first, don’t wait.
Allergy Alert tag, front: ALLERGY ALERT and a white warning triangle on redFront
Allergy Alert tag, back: TAP FOR INFO with a phone and contactless waves in whiteBack
Allergy Alert

Said before the food is handed over.

A team snack, a lunch bag, a birthday party. One tap shows the allergy, with a text to your emergency contact ready to send, so the conversation happens before anything gets eaten.

If Found

Left in a cart. Back in your hand by checkout.

Keys, a bag, anything you'd want returned. Tap it, and a text to the owner is right there, ready to send. Nobody has to guess whose it is or dig through a lost and found.

Yours to fill in

You choose what a good samaritan sees.

Each tag opens a standard first line for its kind of tag. What goes underneath it is yours. There is no account and no database; the information lives on the tag itself, and it ships unlocked so you can change it whenever you like. A copy stays only with your order record.

Off the trail for ten minutes. Found before you'd even started calling.

No microchip scanner, no registry to keep current. Whoever finds her taps the tag on her collar and reaches you directly.

Memory Care

Says the one thing a good samaritan needs to know.

A neighbor taps the tag and gets what they need to help, with a text to whoever you chose already addressed. Nothing alarming on the front, just the plain fact and a way to reach you.

The tap opensThis is a message to my emergency contact. You may send a text and/or see important info below. If this is an emergency, call 911 first, don’t wait.

Autism

Says it once, so nobody has to ask.

A new place, a busy room, someone new asking questions. Point to it and they know to tap. What opens says autistic, says what helps and what does not, and reaches somebody who knows. Said when you want it said.

Nonspeaking

A quiet way to ask for help.

For anyone who communicates without speaking. A tap opens a text to your guardian, ready to send, along with whatever a helper needs to know. From there the two of you can just text each other.

The eighth tag

The only one that
ships already written.

On every other tag you pick what goes on it, and you can rewrite it yourself any time; the instruction card in the package shows how. The 988 arrives programmed to the national suicide and crisis resources, identical on every tag, with nothing personal on it anywhere. Carry it for yourself, or hang it where somebody else would find it.

It does not call anyone for you. Holding a phone to it brings up the Lifeline and how to reach it. That is all it does. It does not dial, it does not text, it sends nothing by itself, and nobody is told that it was tapped. A person still has to decide to make the call. This tag is not an emergency service and not a medical device. If it is an emergency, call 911 first.
